Privacy & Sovereign
Data Protocols

This document outlines the engineering-first approach Grand Home Digital takes to protect Canadian enterprise data within Natural Language Processing environments.

01

Information Acquisition

At Grand Home Digital, we recognize that enterprise data is the most valuable asset of a modern Canadian organization. We do not engage in broad-spectrum data scraping. All personal data handled by our NLP solutions is collected strictly through explicit professional inquiry or as part of established client engagement workflows.

Key data points we may process include professional identifiers (name, corporate email, role) and technical metadata necessary for the performance and tuning of tailored chatbot models.

Notice on Generative AI

We maintain a strict policy: Client-proprietary data processed through our private API gateways is never used to train base models or shared with public LLM repositories.

02

Data Residency Protocols

To ensure compliance with regional sovereignty requirements, Grand Home Digital prioritizes Canadian data residency. Wherever operationally feasible, we deploy infrastructure across dedicated regions in Ontario and Quebec.

Our Sovereign Proxy Setup acts as a technical buffer, scrubbing PII (Personally Identifiable Information) before requests are routed, ensuring that any external processing adheres to our "Zero Knowledge" architectural principles.

  • LOG_01 Encryption in transit via TLS 1.3 as a baseline standard across all corporate endpoints.
  • LOG_02 SOC/2 Type II compliant storage environments for all long-term diagnostic logs.
03

Third-Party Guardrails

While our NLP architecture integrates with best-in-class research models, we maintain a hard-friction security posture regarding vendor access. We do not sell, rent, or trade your operational data.

Any third-party API interaction is governed by Enterprise Service Agreements that explicitly prohibit the use of our client data for the improvement of the vendor's generalized commercial services.

04

Legal Compliance & Rights

Under PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), Canadian users have specific rights regarding their information. Grand Home Digital facilitates:

Right to Audit

Request a comprehensive ledger of all personal information currently stored or processed.

Right to Erasure

The "Right to be Forgotten" applies to all non-transactional operational logs within 30 days.
